Donations Cabaret Fund Raiser The Cabaret is an annual event with the primary focus on raising money to feed the hungry. However, it is also a fun and entertaining event that is more successful every year. The 2010 Cabaret raised $100,000! Save the date! The 2011 Cabaret will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Hilton Hotel Lisle/Naperville. If you would like to make a donation, contribute a raffle item or become a sponsor, please contact cabaret@wcpinc.org. In-Kind We welcome food and personal
care item donations, but regret we cannot accept clothing, used toys, or
household items. Donations may be dropped off at the Pantry Monday - Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. If you have a large donation, please contact the Pantry at 630.512.9921 to schedule an appointment. Monetary As members of America's Second Harvest through Northern Illinois Food Bank, the pantry can purchase many foods at $.18 per pound. This means, for instance, that a box of cereal which costs you $3.00 to $4.00 in the grocery store can be purchased by us for $.14 to $.18. $360 buys one ton of food! For this reason, we encourage monetary donations. Drop off or mail contributions: We are located one block West of Route 53 and one block North of Hobson on Hobson Valley Drive. Among others, we are grateful to Jewel Food Store, Starbuck's, Whole Foods, Panera Bread, The Farm (produce), Cargill, Pepperidge Farm and Meijer Food Stores, who regularly donate food and/or sizeable monetary contributions.
Food Drives Food drives are also a valuable source of our incoming food, especially the major drive sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers in May, and in November, Harvest Sunday. Schools, churches, and the business community continually add needed supplies. Your donation in fiscal year 2009 allowed us to:

Please consider this as a personal request on my part for your assistance to the West Suburban Community Pantry, whose goal is to assist those in need in our community. Please give careful consideration to the information and the request for financial participation. It provides you an excellent opportunity to continue your partnership with our community. ~William F.
