MISSION STATEMENT: The West Suburban Community Pantry offers food for the hungry and resources to empower persons to improve their quality of life. Our vision is a community without hunger.
Over 95,000 people in DuPage County go to bed hungry every night. Of those, over 45,000 are children. In fiscal year 2011, we fed 35,518 persons, including 15,008 children and 2,684 senior citizens, with nearly 1.5 million pounds of food. We also provided over 124,000 diapers for our youngest clients.
