Whether you are looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity for a group or an ongoing opportunity for yourself, we have an array of volunteer opportunities available. PLEASE NOTE: The Pantry no longer participates in the court-ordered community service hours program.
Volunteers donated 30,474 hours in fiscal year 2012. According to Independent Sector research on the real value of volunteer time, those hours are worth $693,893 to the Pantry.
Over 150 individuals volunteer on a regular basis. Some of our needs are:

Assist clients Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday mornings, 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM
Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Thursday evenings from 5:15 PM to 8:30 PM -
Re-stock shelves Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons, between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM.

Clerical work (should have experience with Microsoft Word, Access and Excel). Some opportunities exist for work at home.
- Special talents: translation (especially Spanish), grant writing, event planning, publicity
