Adopt A Student - School Supply Collection

SCHOOL SUPPLY COLLECTION DAYS
AUGUST 1 - 31

As the children of our community head back to school, many parents will find it a financial strain to provide them with the necessary school supplies. In fact, more than 708 students in Woodridge qualify for the free or reduced fee lunch program. These students are unlikely to have the necessary supplies to get them off to a confident, excited start to the new school year.

Could you “adopt” one of these students by providing the supply list items? Below you will find links to school supply lists for all of the public schools in Woodridge. Choose the school and grade level student you would like to support. Buy the items on the list, put them in a bag or box (a backpack would be ideal!) and label them with school name and grade level. We will get them to a child in need.

Alternatively, the Pantry will gladly accept any quantities of any of the following:

  • WIDE RULE notebook paper
  • Pocket/prong folders
  • Red pens
  • Colored markers
  • Glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Pencil boxes

You may drop off your donations at the pantry, Argonne Credit Union, Bridgeview Bank, St. Scholastica, Prince of Peace, or Woodridge United Methodist Churches.

Thank you for your generosity!
